PORTSMOUTH UK— A homeless man is scheduled to be arraigned Monday on a theft charge alleging he stole a Portsmouth Herald.
Glenn Saren, 46, of the Cross Roads House homeless shelter, is scheduled to appear in Portsmouth District Court Oct. 6 on a class B misdemeanor count of theft. According to a complaint filed by Newington Officer Jon Garvin, Saren stole the 75 cent newspaper from a Fox Run Mall newsstand on Aug. 29.
He is free on $500 personal recognizance bail and under court orders not to return to the mall.
