Man tries to bribe his way out of ticket

Port Orange, Florida - A motorcyclist was arrested in the Port Orange area after he tried to bribe his way out of a speeding ticket. According to sheriff’s spokesman Gary Davidson, a deputy spotted 20-year-old Andrew Ouellette traveling 67 mph in a 50 mph zone on Nova Road. The deputy pulled Ouellette over. According to the Sherriff’s Office, Ouellette told the deputy he had been ticketed several times recently and “couldn’t afford another one,” asking if there was anything he could do to avoid being cited. Davidson said Ouellette then pulled a roll of cash from his pocket and asked the deputy, “Are you sure we can’t do anything?”  More…
