Mother duct tapes 2-year-old, thought would be funny

California - An Hesperia woman who thought it would be funny to bind her 2-year-old son in duct tape and text message a photo of him to an acquaintance didn’t get a laugh. She was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of cruelty to a child. Danyella Higgins, 19, told San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies she was repairing a window when she was inspired to tape up her son’s arms, legs and mouth.
