School bus driver lets student drive, $50 fine
Indiana - Lisa Fuller, the EVSC contract bus driver that allegedly allowed a teenager to drive her bus, was sentenced in court. Fuller pled guilty to a Class 3 misdemeanor charge of allowing a minor to go into a prohibited area only occupied by a driver. She was fined $50 but she had to cover court costs which brought her total to $214. Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Leanne Garbers says that she may have used poor judgment but she doesn’t appear to be a threat in the future. If she had been convicted on that charge, she couldn’t get a commercial drivers license in the future. More…
