Vt. clerk foils robber with 'Let me call my wife'

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. (AP) -- A Vermont convenience store clerk foiled a robbery after the would-be robber demanded $200 cash. Said clerk Michael Patel: "Let me call my wife."
