Odd News: Inmate bitten on penis by rodent may sue

 New York - A man who says a rat bit his penis during a jail stay may sue county officials, a judge has ruled. Peter Solomon, who said he later had to endure a course of rabies jabs, says jailers knew the ward in which they placed him was infested with rodents. He says the jail was negligent and mistreated him because he is black. Lawyers for Nassau County sought to have the suit dismissed stating its experts said they saw no evidence of serious injury.  More…

New Zealand - A venomous katipo spider bite on his penis was the high price a tourist paid for a skinny-dip at a Northland beach. The 22-year-old Canadian left his clothes in the sand dunes while he went for his nude swim and slept on his return. Man tries to make penis longer but got stuck

California - Officials with the Costa Mesa Fire Department’s Urban Search and Rescue squad were summoned to Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach to save another man’s penis from perishing. The man in his 50s had apparently put his penis through the hole of a steel, ring-shaped dumbbell weight fastener, two or three days earlier. The device got stuck, and he couldn’t remove it.
