Teacher Gets Handgun as End-of-Year Gift

Palm Beach Gardens, Florida - Some students give apples, but one student at a Florida school may have given their teacher a loaded handgun as an end-of-year gift. According to a report from the Palm Beach County School District, the eight-year-old student’s grandmother gave the Allamanda Elementary School teacher a gift of a box of toiletries while in the parking lot at the Palm Beach Gardens school. However, after opening the present when she arrived home the teacher found a loaded .22-caliber handgun at the bottom of the box.
